FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) -- The father of a child injured when a bounce house was sent flying after a waterspout hit has hired an attorney and wants someone to take responsibility for what happened to his daughter.

The lawyer for the family of 5-year-old Shadaja Bryant provided photos showing her injuries after she was thrown from the bounce house when it was lifted it high into the air during a Memorial Day event sponsored by the city of Fort Lauderdale.

Two other children also suffered injuries.

The attorney said Shadaja's family wants to know whether the bounce house was properly secured and who was supervising it.

He said Shadaja has suffered physical and psychological injuries.

"This is a 5-year old girl who thought she was going to die. That's not something anyone should have to go through, let alone this very sweet 5-year-old girl," said attorney Brian Greenwald.

The father's move comes one day after 6-year old Shamoya, one of the other children injured in the incident, spoke out about the frightening moments.
