Miami Heat 2015 NBA Mock Draft Compilation 1.0

wqam

With the 10th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the Miami Heat select (as long as Pat Riley doesn't trade the pick for a vet):

Myles Turner -- Chris Mannix, SI

"Turner is a tantalizing talent. He's long, blocks shots and has three-point potential."

Stanley Johnson -- Chad Ford, ESPN:

"Johnson makes a lot of sense here for the Heat; he's one of the most NBA-ready prospects in the draft, with the size and strength to play right away."

Kelly Oubre -- Zach Harper, CBS Sports:

"The Heat getting to keep their pick and add a high-level prospect like Kelly Oubre, Jr. is the best-case scenario for them missing the playoffs."

Devin Booker -- Jason Zabludowski, Page Q:

"While the Heat would have preferred for Stanley Johnson to slip, they wind up with the best shooter in the draft – a desperate area of need."

Stanley Johnson -- Kevin O'Connor, SB Nation:

"Miami's future is murky, with various players entering free agency and/or aging. Johnson is a high-end, versatile defensive player and provides complementary offense with his shooting and pick-and-roll play."

Kelly Oubre -- Draft Express:

"Kelly Oubre is far from a polished player at this point but is incredibly talented. Size length scoring instincts are off the charts."

Stanley Johnson -- Jason McIntyre, The Big Lead:

"Johnson has potential to be a Top 5 pick, but he doesn't shoot the three as well as Winslow/Hezonja/Booker, and more than anything, he's … kind of D Wade-like at the offensive end (but heavier)."

Frank Kaminsky -- Jonathan Wasserman, Bleacher Report:

"Pat Riley and Co. go with a safe and productive option here, and Frank Kaminsky is just that. Wisconsin's star center will supply efficient offense and enough defensive size and mobility for the Miami Heat."

Mario Hezonja -- Reid Forgrave, Fox Sports:

"The Croatian wing can really shoot the ball, and he's a phenomenal athlete to boot."

Kelly Oubre -- Sporting News:

"Oubre's massive wingspan — it came in at 7-2 1/4 in Chicago — makes him a potentially great defensive player."

--

So it's three selections each for Oubre and Johnson and one apiece for Booker, Booker, Kaminsky, and Hezonja to lead the Miami Heat mock draft compilation.

The draft is still 36 days away, so better pace yourself when gulping down these mocks.
