MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Comedian and actress Maya Rudolph was the commencement speaker for Tulane University's 2015 class. The ceremony took place inside the Superdome in New Orleans on Saturday morning.

The former SNL cast member left audiences rolling with her many impressions, including Beyoncé and Oprah.

"You get a diploma! You get a diploma! You get a diploma!" the comedian joked.

Maya has quite the connection with the university.

Her father, Richard "Dick" Rudolph – who was born and raised in Miami and a graduate of Miami Beach Senior High School – graduated from Tulane in 1968.

Maya's cousin, Sabrina Rudolph, was among the graduating students of the class of 2015.

Maya gave Sabrina quite the shout out asking her to standup in the Superdome and wave to her fellow classmates.

Sabrina, who went to high school at Miami Country Day School, hopes to follow in her cousin's footsteps. She graduated with a degree in Communications and has spent much of her time NOLA doing improv, as her famous cousin did when she first started.

And as if having one entertainer in the family wasn't enough, Sabrina is also the niece of CBS4's Entertainment Reporter Lisa Petrillo.
