MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami police investigated a trio of shootings over the weekend in which two men were killed.

The two deadly shootings, which police said were unrelated, happened Sunday within 10 blocks and two hours of each other.

Police said the first man, 30-year-old Reginald Killings, was gunned down in the 5600 block of NW 4th Ave. around 10 a.m.

Killings was standing in his yard when he was shot multiple times. Investigators said Killings tried to run inside but collapsed at the front door.

"We still have no clue why this man was gunned down. If he was involved in anything at all or if it's just a random shooting," Miami Police Officer Renee Pimentel.

Two hours later, police went to 4400 Block of NW 5th Avenue to check on reports of another shooting.

When they arrived they found the body of 21-year-old Maurice Alexander Cabrera in the middle of the road.

"A Hispanic male was on his bicycle walking with two other female companions when an unknown vehicle pulled up and one, possibly two offenders, shot him several times," said Pimentel.

Friends said Cabrera's pregnant girlfriend was one of the women with him when he was killed.

Around 4 p.m. police were called to NW 65th Street and 14th Avenue in Liberty City where a 14 year old had been shot in the face. The teen was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital for treatment. Police did not release the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

On Saturday, Miami-Dade police investigated a fourth shooting at West Dade beauty salon where a man shot a hairstylist before turning the gun on himself.
