Sheriff's Office Releases Name Of Motorcyclist Struck Christmas Eve

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) - A motorcyclist struck on Christmas Eve in Pompano Beach remains in a medically induced coma while he awaits pelvic surgery to repair fractures.

Forty three year old Robert Games was stopped at a light on Federal Highway at NW 14th Street around 8:30 p.m. when he was struck from behind by a truck.

The truck's driver kept going. Games was rushed to Broward Health North in very serious condition. In addition to his pelvic injuries, Games had several fractures in his arms and legs.

The truck that hit him was described as a black or dark blue, older model 2001-2006 Chevy pickup, with a partial tag of IB7 or 1B7. It also has the word "Chevrolet" in white letters on the tailgate.

Anyone with information about the location of the truck or its driver should contact Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477) or browardcrimestoppers.org. A reward of up to $3,000 is available for information leading to an arrest.
