Steering You Right: 836 Lane Closures To Avoid
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- There are plenty of traffic hot spots that drivers need to be aware of this week.
Monday through Friday, all the eastbound 836 lanes will be closed at the Palmetto Expressway between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. Drivers will be detoured to the southbound SR 826 exit ramp.
The westbound SR 836 ramp to southbound SR 826 will be shut down Tuesday through Thursday from 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
On the Dolphins Expressway, there are more closures.
The entrance ramps to eastbound 836 from northbound and southbound NW 12th Avenue will be closed for construction through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. each night. But the closures of the entrance ramps from northbound and southbound NW 12th Avenue will not occur at the same time.
There's also a traffic alert for Broward County drivers this weekend.
Northbound Sawgrass Expressway exits to northbound U.S. 441 and southbound to U.S. 441 will be closed the entire weekend from 9 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday. You can use Lyons Road as an alternate route.
