MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) —  A Florida model, charged with animal cruelty for allegedly torturing and killing animals in fetish porn videos,  pleaded not guilty Friday.

Sara Zamora, 28, pleaded not guilty after being accused of torturing chickens and rabbits.

Model Stephanie Hird, 29, also faces charges and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.

The Miami Herald reported that Zamora and Hird had starring roles in "animal crush" videos produced by South Florida fishing boat captain Adam Redford. The videos show animals being killed while the models participate in sex acts.

Redford has yet to be arrested, but has been named as a co-defendant.

Zamora is accused of "cutting a chicken's neck using hedge clippers" while participating in a sex act with a man, according to police. She is also accused of karate-chopping several rabbits' necks while they howled in pain.

Hird allegedly crushed live fish while wearing a revealing outfit, torturing rabbits, shooting rats and setting a pile of injured rodents on fire, according to a warrant from prosecutor Jason Pizzo and Miami-Dade Detective Mario Fernandez.

Hird has appeared on the TLC show "Strange Sex." She also had a court appearance Friday.

Detectives were informed of the videos by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
