BSO: HIV-Infected Woman Jailed For Spitting On Deputy

LAUDERDALE LAKES (CBSMiami) -- A woman is behind bars for allegedly trying to transmit HIV to a deputy in Lauderdale Lakes.

According to deputies, Lybette Dunn, 53, was arrested on April 17th after a police officer found her standing on the street at 601 NW 27th Avenue.

Dunn was allegedly obstructing traffic causing vehicles to slam on their breaks and honk their horn.

When police placed her in custody, she refused to get into the deputy's car, according to the arrest report.

The deputy was treated for exposure as a precaution.
