Hialeah Lifts Precautionary Boil Water Notice

HIALEAH (CBSMiami) - A precautionary boil water advisory for a Hialeah neighborhood that was issued last week has been lifted.

The advisory was originally sent out March 12th to residents in the areas of W 4th Avenue to W 8th Avenue and W 44th Street to W 53rd Street after a water main break.

The break, which caused by a contractor working in the area, caused a temporary disruption in service.

After the break was repaired, the city had to wait until repeated test samples showed the water was within acceptable health ranges.
