Elderly Man Arrested For Possessing & Compiling Child Porn
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- An elderly man is behind bars, accused of possessing and sharing child pornography.
On Friday, Stanley Stein, 76, faced a judge in bond court on charges of possessing child pornography and compiling computer pornography.
According to Broward Sheriff's Office, Stein was allegedly downloading and offering to share numerous images and videos depicting sexual molestation of children.
On May 8th and May 9th, a special agent was able to download videos which depicted children in sexual acts.
Deputies say they interviewed Stein on July 9th and he allegedly stated he knowingly downloaded and viewed child porn from a file sharing program.
According to Deputies, Stein was downloading child pornography when agents arrived at home.
According to his attorney, Stein was released on his recognizance.
