CBS4 Reporters Shine At Regional Emmys

FT. LAUDERDALE (CBS4) - It was an exciting night for dozens of television professionals at the 37th Annual Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood Saturday evening.

CBS4 reporter David Sutta and photographer William Catoggio won a Feature News Report award for their "Diving Daredevils" which looked at the extreme sport of free diving.

Sutta also received an award for Best On Camera Talent - Special Assignment for his "David Sutta Reports."

CBS4's Chief Investigative Reporter Michele Gillen received an award for Best On Camera Talent - Program Host/Moderator for her "Finding the Path to Heal Your Heart."

The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences is a nonprofit Florida corporation dedicated to excellence in television.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards are just one of a dozen regional Emmy award presentations from around the nation. The Suncoast Chapter covers from Louisiana to Puerto Rico.
