Double Shooting Sent Nearby Elementary School Into Lockdown
NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBSMiami) – A South Florida elementary school was on lockdown early Friday afternoon following a shooting in the neighborhood.
According to Miami-Dade police, two people were shot at 8070 NW 13th Court. Both were transported to Ryder Trauma.
Arcola Lake Elementary, located at 1037 NW 81st Street, has been placed on a precautionary lockdown while police investigate the shooting.
Police said they are looking for three suspects.
It's not known yet who was shot or how severe the injuries area.
