Trader Joe's To Open In Pembroke Pines Next Year

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Trader Joe's is coming to Broward next year.

The California-based grocer which has developed a cult-like following plans to open a new store at the intersection of Pines Boulevard and Flamingo Road in the Pembroke Crossing shopping center.

The company also plans to open new stores in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Wellington and Palm Beach Gardens, Tampa, St. Petersburg and Winter Park in 2014.

Earlier this year the company opened a location in Pinecrest which was plagued with parking problems for days after the grand opening.

A majority of the products stocked in the store are Trader Joe's private label.

The private label that means it's free of artificial colors, flavors, ingredients, and preservatives.

Some of the most popular are "Two Buck Chuck," bottles of wine for 2.99 a pop and Trader Joe's famous cookie butter. Products

Since its launch in 1958 in the Los Angeles area, Trader Joe's has expanded to more than 390 stores in 35 states.
