MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami police have arrested a man in connection with a deadly shooting in Little Haiti on Tuesday.

Lionel Wilson, 37, has been charged with first degree murder in the death of 39-year old Joubert Cazezneuze.

Cazezneuze was sitting on the porch of his girlfriend's house at Northwest 54th Street and Miami Avenue when Wilson came up and the two began argue. The argument was reportedly over money, according to police. As the fight grew more heated, Wilson allegedly pulled a gun and shot Cazezneuze who died in a pool of blood on the porch.

Marlin Dormeus said he was saddened by the loss of his best friend.

"I feel so bad," he said. "It was like losing my brother or a family member. He was such a nice guy. He was very friendly. I don't know why this happened."

Frantz Eloi, the President of the Buena Vista Heights Neighborhood Association, said, "We are very surprised. This is such a quiet neighborhood. It's normally very quiet."
