Miami-Dade Park Hosts Free Health Fair
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Free health screenings are being given to adults age 55 and over courtesy of Miami-Dade's Parks & Recreation department.
The free screenings are being conducted at the Arcola Lakes Park Community Center, 1301 NW 83 Street, Miami, until 1 p.m.
There are also exercise demonstrations and those in attendance will have the opportunity to register on-site for Miami-Dade County Parks' free ongoing Active Adults 55+ Self-Management Activities and Classes, including the Active Adults 55+ Walking Club.
Miami-Dade County Parks' Active Adults 55+ Program is designed to help older adults maintain their health by staying physically active. The program is currently offered at 14 Miami-Dade County park locations.
