Broward's Salvation Army Looking To Hire Bell Ringers

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – The Salvation Army of Broward County will be signing up bell ringers for its upcoming Red Kettle Campaign at two upcoming job fairs.

The first job fair will be Tuesday, October 1st, at the Salvation Army Fellowship Center at 100 SW 9th Avenue in Ft. Lauderdale from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The second will be held Tuesday, October 15th, at the Plymouth Colony Center at 1950 Sherman Street in Hollywood from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

They are looking to hire 125 energetic and outgoing people. The bell ringers will be working round the clock, ringing their shiny bells with the hopes of catching the attention and generosity of people walking by. Positions start at $8.00 per hour.

Anyone interested must be able to work Monday through Saturdays for 10 to 12 hour shifts beginning in mid-November and running through December 24.

Donations to the Red Kettles stay local, supporting programs in the communities in which they were received.

For job seekers unable to make a job fair, applications are available at: The Salvation Army of Broward County-Administration Building 1445 West Broward Blvd., Fort Lauderdale. Completed applications may be faxed to (954) 467-0681.
