Heat Add Guard Larry Drew II
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Miami Heat continued to add bodies to the roster Monday when they signed guard Larry Drew II. The signing of Drew makes him the 18th member of the Heat heading into training camp.
Drew II started his college career at North Carolina before transferring to UCLA prior to last season.
While playing for the Bruins, Drew averaged 7.5 points and 7.3 assists per game. Overall, Drew averaged 5.5 points in 131 college games.
The Heat will be allowed to keep 15 players on the roster heading into the regular season.
