Tannehill Limited In Practice Due To Sore Shoulder

DAVIE (CBSMiami) - There was a major addition to the injury list Wednesday afternoon for the Miami Dolphins: quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

According to the injury report, Tannehill is nursing a sore right (throwing) shoulder. The injury happened early in the third quarter of last Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts when he was hit from behind on a sack.

Tannehill finished the game, but limited in practice Wednesday. Six other Dolphins were limited in practice as well, but none have been ruled out for Sunday's home opener against the Atlanta Falcons.

Defensive tackle Paul Soliai and safety Chris Clemons sat out all of practice due to a knee injury and hamstring injury respectively.

Three cornerbacks were limited including: Will Davis, Jamar Taylor, and starter Dimitri Patterson.

Having a secondary at full strength will be key for Miami as they try to slow down Atlanta's potent passing attack featuring Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Roddy White, and Tony Gonzalez.
