Robbery Outside North Miami Beach Club Leads To Chase
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A robbery outside of a North Miami Beach strip club led to a short chase along Biscayne Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened in the parking lot of Dean's Gold at 163rd Street and Biscayne Boulevard. A man was standing outside of his vehicle waiting for his wife when he was robbed of his jewelry at gunpoint.
After the robbery, the man chased the crooks north on Biscayne Boulevard in his car as he called 9-1-1. According to police, during the chase gunfire was exchanged between the man who was robbed and robber's car which ended up crashing into another vehicle and light pole at 191st Street.
One person was taken into custody. Police are looking for two other people who were in the car.
