Child In Hialeah Rushed To Hospital Possibly Shot With Pellet Gun
HIALEAH (CBSMiami) – A child was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital from Palmetto General Hospital where authorities said the child is being treated for an eye injury caused by a pellet.
Investigators are trying to determine how the 3-month-old girl ended up with the pellet from in her eye.
It happened at 3:30 Thursday afternoon in Hialeah.
It is not clear whether she was actually shot.
Hialeah Police are questioning the child's parents.
The child is being treated by the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
