LeBron Says Police Escort Helped On Way To Concert

MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) - Fast on the courts, and swift on the streets, in an eight-second video Lebron told the world, well his millions of social media followers, how he beat South Florida traffic on his way to Sun Life for the much talked-about Justin Timberlake and Jay Z concert Friday night.

Friday night, singers Justin Timberlake and Jay Z's wrapped up their 14 city "Legends of the Summer" stadium tour at Sun Life Stadium.

Many South Florida Instagram accounts, the widely-used photo and video-sharing app, featured  their view of the concert, while Miami Heat Star LeBron James posted his video Friday of him saying he was following "a police escort on the wrong side of the street" to get to the concert.

The video shows James' vehicle behind others with police lights flashing, as oncoming traffic on the three-lane side of the road allowed them to pass.

It was unclear what law enforcement agency was providing the escort, which appeared to be taking place in the vicinity of the stadium. Traffic around much of the area was clogged because of the concert.
