MIAMI (CBSMiami) – If ever there was a winning duo in the music industry, it’s rapper and entertainment mogul Jay Z paired with R&B singer and actor Justin Timberlake. The duo headlined Friday’s Sun Life Stadium concert for the final stop of their 14 city tour “Legends of the Summer.”

The artists took to the stage just after 9:30 p.m. Friday night.

“It’s a great show. A true collaboration, from the artists themselves, to everyone working on it. It’s one band they all work together. It’s one big extravaganza,” said Bobby Schneider, production manager for Jay Z.

A total of 180 people work the national crew. That number does not include the locals hired to build the massive set, which loaded into the stadium three days prior to a concert.

The Grammy winning artists shared the stage together along with some surprise guests.

“We’re pretty traditional and old school,” said Bobby. “We feel like people come to see those guys perform and they get their moneys-worth.”

The two experienced performers are masters of their craft. Both are successful commercially and highly respected in the industry. All those involved in the 14 city tour can’t be more thankful that South Florida is playing host to the tour’s final show.

“We’re happy to be here and end it in great city,” Schnedier said.
