Bus Stop Crash Kills One Man And Critically Injures Another
HIALEAH (CBS Miami) -- One person was killed and another person was injured when a vehicle crashed into a bus stop in Hialeah.
The crash happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of West 16th Avenue and 49th Street.
Hialeah Fire Rescue officials said a man in his fifties was thrown from the bus stop into the drive-thru of a Pollo Tropical nearby and died.
The other man who is 24-years-old had his legs amputated according to Hialeah officials.
He was taken to Palm Springs Hospital and then taken by Air Rescue to Ryder Trauma Center.
Hialeah Police are looking for the car and are interviewing witnesses.
