Miami City Manager Suffers Mild Stroke
MIAMI (CBS4) – Miami City Manager Johnny Martinez is recovering after he suffered a mild stroke over the weekend.
Martinez was hospitalized late Saturday. As City Manager, Martinez's department supervises about four thousand employees in more than a dozen departments. He also responds to questions and criticisms of the city's five commissioners.
Martinez was assigned to the position in June, 2011 by Mayor Tomas Regalado.
