MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It’s not quite the Super Bowl and not exactly American football, but the Guinness International Champions Cup will match up some of soccer’s best franchises around the world in a series that will culminate with a championship game at Sun Life Stadium in early August.

The tournament’s opening round matchups were announced Wednesday and will take place in six U.S. cities and one European before moving to South Florida for the championship round. The games will be played in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Indianapolis, Phoenix, and Valencia.

The teams taking part are a who’s-who from around the world including: AC Milan, Chelsea, Everton F.C., the L.A. Galaxy, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Valencia. Currently, the tournament is scheduled to run from July 27 to August 7.

The winners of the respective brackets will meet at Sun Life Stadium on August 7th for the championship. A third place game will match up the second place team from each bracket and be played at 6:30 p.m. on August 7. A fifth place game will take place on August 6 at Sun Life Stadium.

Tickets for the championship and other games at Sun Life Stadium will range from $70 for the cheap seats to more than $285 for seats closer to the field. You can buy your tickets by clicking here.
