Shooting In Front Of Lauderdale Store Caught On Camera
FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A man remains in critical condition after an early morning shooting outside a mini-mart near Ft. Lauderdale.
It happened in front of the Champion Food Store at 2409 NW 15th Court.
Surveillance cameras in front of the store caught part of the action. Images from the cameras show two men walking in front of the business around 1 a.m. Off camera, two men are playing craps when they see one of the people walking down the street pull a gun and head towards them.
The images show the people who were playing craps running away from the armed men as shots were fired at them.
The video shows one of the person fall to the ground as the armed individuals ran past him chasing the second person.
Moments later, a black, two-door Pontiac G6 pulls up next to the wounded man.
A man gets out of the passenger side of the car, searches through the wounded man's pockets, gets back in the car and the car drives off.
