South Florida Crime
POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – The Broward County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday afternoon the parents of a toddler found wandering in the street in Pompano Beach have contacted law enforcement and will more than likely be reunited with the girl.
The girl, who will turn 2 in May, was found wandering alone on the 2800 block of NW 1st Court in Pompano Beach.
The little girl was found wearing a yellow shirt, size 3, with a flower on the front and a pair of pink shorts when she was found Friday morning.
The child was taken to ChildNet but police said the parents must go to the Pompano District office to be questioned before they can get the child.
