North Miami (CBSMiami) – More $150,000 in marijuana plants are headed for the incinerator after they were found in a grow house in North Miami.

On Tuesday, undercover detectives discovered what police have called an “elaborate and sophisticated marijuana growing operation” at 645 NE 129 Street. Inside the residence they found 36 fully grown, high grade, marijuana plants which weighed more than 50 pounds.

They also arrested Yieniel Turino Salabarria, 28, and charged him with marijuana trafficking, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and several other drug related charges.
