Miami-Dade County Offering Free Tax Services
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It's that time again - tax season. This year Miami-Dade County is offering free tax preparation services for low-income individuals who need to submit their 2012 tax returns to Uncle Sam.
Select Miami-Dade Community Action and Human Services Department (CAHSD) Service Centers will begin prepping and electronically filing taxes starting on February 4th. The program runs through April 15.
Individuals or families with a combined income under $57,000 in 2012 are eligible to receive assistance.
Individuals may also file their taxes online by visiting www.myfreetaxes.com/cahsdtax.
