Bicyclist Injured In Hit & Run Accident

HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) – A bicyclist was rushed to the hospital after he was struck by a hit and run driver in Hollywood.

It happened Wednesday evening on Ocean Drive at Meade Street. The man was reportedly heading South when he was struck. He was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital in critical condition.

Police spoke with several witnesses in an effort to get a description of the vehicle and its driver.

This is the fifth hit and run accident in South Florida this year.
