Canes & Noles 2013 ACC Opponents Revealed

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced a revamped 2013 football schedule that added a rotating and primary cross division opponent and the newest ACC teams, Pittsburgh and Syracuse.

The University of Miami Hurricanes will play Georgia Tech, Virginia and Virginia Tech at home and play Duke, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh on the road. The Canes will also play at Florida State and have another home game against Wake Forest.

Miami's non-conference schedule includes one guaranteed win against Savannah State plus dates against Florida Atlantic and at the University of South Florida. Miami also has a huge non-conference game against the Florida Gators next season.

Up the road in Tallahassee, the Florida State Seminoles will have home games against Maryland, North Carolina State, Syracuse, and the aforementioned game against Miami. The Seminoles will play on the road at Boston College, Clemson, Wake Forest and Pittsburgh.

Florida State will open the season against the Wofford Terriers and also play the Idaho Vandals and Nevada Wolf Pack in non-conference games. FSU also has its annual season-ending battle with the Florida Gators on the schedule this season.
