NE Miami-Dade Auto Shop Set Ablaze
NORTHEAST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) - Fire crews rushed to the scene of a massive fire to a Northeast Miami-Dade muffler shop Thursday night, believed to be the work of an arsonist.
The Magic Car Care Center Muffler Shop, located at 625 Northeast 79th Street, exploded in flames just after 9:30 p.m.
Miami Fire Rescue officials on the scene tell CBS4's Brian Andrews that witnesses reported seeing three incendiary devices were thrown into the business. The fire was so intense that gas canisters and other auto parts started to explode.
The intersection in front of the business is shut down while crews battle the fire and investigate the cause.
Officials say whoever is responsible for starting the fire is on the run.
