MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) – Alexia Echevarria – one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Miami – and her politically-connected lobbyist husband Herman are in the IRS’ crosshairs.
The IRS, according to papers filed with Miami-Dade County, accuses the Echevarrias of scrimping on their income tax payments by a total of $90,078.44 for 2009.
According to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald, the agency has requested that the couple pay up several times, and finally placed a lien on their $1.2 million homestead in Miami Beach.
