HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Nearly 14 hours after a elderly Hollywood man with Alzheimer’s disease was reported missing, police say he’s been found safe.
Walter Naumiec, 85, was last seen at his residence in the 4200 block of Grant Street early Sunday.
His wife, Lenisse Naumiec, called the police around 12:30 a.m. and told them that when she got up to check on her husband, he was not there.
Hollywood police issued an alert and picture of Naumiec in the hopes that someone who saw him would give them a call.
Just after 2:30 p.m., police reported that he had been found but didn’t elaborate on where he had been.
