Adopt A Pet For The Holidays With Help From The Marlins

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Marlins and Miami-Dade County Animal Services have teamed up to help you bring a four legged friend to your home for the holidays.

It’s as simple as attending the Holiday Adopt-O-Mania on Saturday, December 1st.

The Miami Marlins Ayudan Team and Miami-Dade County Animal Services along with the Humane Society of Greater Miami and The Cat Network will be at Marlins Park offering pet adoptions, vaccinating and spay/neutering.

Over two hundred pets will be on-site and available for adoption.

Animal lovers are invited to come out to Marlins Park for food, fun, festivities and more. There will be live entertainment and two free tickets to a 2013 Marlins game for the first 100 guests who adopt a cat or dog.

Pet adoptions, micro-chipping and vaccinations from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. Spay and Neuter services for dogs are available by appointment only by calling 311.
