FLORIDA (CBSMiami) – Florida ranked among the top 10 states for its business climate in 2012.
The South Florida Business Journal reports that Florida ranked tenth in the Site Selection Publications report. The Sunshine State also placed sixth in the 2012 Executive Survey Business Climate Rankings.
The annual rankings score a state’s business climate based 50 percent on a survey of corporate site selectors and 50 percent by an index of tax burden criteria, according to the Tax Foundation, KPMG’s Location Matters analysis and Florida’s performance in Conway Data’s New Plant Database.
North Carolina ranked as the state with the best business climate for 2012.
