MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A tree trimmer died Monday after being electrocuted while trimming trees in the 1500 block of NW 30 Avenue.

The worker was up in the bucket of a bucket truck when he was electrocuted. Rescuers had to wait for FP&L to shut off the power before they could get to the worker.

The worker was taken to the hospital by ambulance but was later declared dead.
