Florida's First Female QB Shows Passing Power In S. Plantation Win

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) — The first girl to play quarterback in a Florida high school game has thrown her first completion.

South Plantation's Erin Dimeglio (#20) entered late in the Paladins' 41-12 win over Piper on Friday.

She completed her second pass, a screen for a two-yard loss. The 5-foot-5 senior, who is also a standout guard for the basketball team, had made her debut in South Plantation's first game but threw no passes.
