HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) — The City of Hollywood wants to help residents prep for Tropical Storm Isaac’s heavy rains.
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports the city is offering eight free sandbags to city residents and business owners located in flood-prone zones Saturday and Sunday.

The sandbag giveaways will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the City of Hollywood Public Works Facility at 1600 S. Park Rd. and the Driftwood Community Center at 3000 N. 69th Ave.

Proof of residency or business is required and it is recommended that you bring your own shovel.
