MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police have released surveillance video of a jewelry store burglar in action at the 163rd Street Mall.

Police hope someone will recognize the suspect.

The business, located at 1205 NE 163rd Street was burglarized at 3:55 a.m. on July 14th.

Polices said this business has been burglarized twice and the suspect description and method in both cases are similar.

During the burglaries, the suspect smashes the front door then jumps the glass counter top in order to steal various jewelry items and cash. This time, the suspect got away with property and cash in excess of $27,000.
