Teenage Brothers Adopted Together After Being Featured At Foster Care Event

MIAMI (CBS4) - It was a day foster children Tyler and Kyle had been dreaming about: being part of a real family.

The pair of teenage brothers had been in foster care since 2006 and needed to be adopted together.

It was a perfect fit for the Depasquales.

"The need, wanting to start a family, and wanting to have a big family," said Marta Depasquale.

Marta and Roy Depasquale first saw Tyler and Kyle featured in the Heart Gallery of Broward County.

The Heart Gallery provides professional photographers to take pictures of foster children up for adoption.

And now this duo are going home as part of a growing family.

"I feel good. I feel the feeling of promising out and being with the family," said Tyler Depasquale. "We had good times together.  It just feels good, meeting new people, and adapting well."

And the new parents couldn't be happier.

"It's happy.  I miss them when they're not with me," said Marta Depasquale.  "It's like Christmas every day."
