Police: Woman Attacks Man Over Fortune Teller Prediction
Tamarac, Fla (CBS Miami) – A woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly attacked a man over something a fortune teller said.
According to police, Angelique McGuire, 23, began arguing with Broderick L. Campbell after a fortune teller told her she would have Campbell put in jail for the rest of his life.
According to a police report, the argument developed after Campbell told McGuire he was going to break up with her. During the argument a mirror fell off the wall and a piece cracked off. Police say McGuire picked up the piece of glass, threw it at Broderick, and cut his face.
Police were called to the scene and McGuire was booked into the Broward County Sheriff Jail on charges of aggravated assault.
She was released on $12,500 bail.
