WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami) – It looks like Nadya Suleman, better known as the “Octomom,” has stripped a gig at a West Palm Beach strip club out of her nude dancing tour because she’s unhappy about what club employees said about her.
TMZ.com reports Octomom was unhappy about what she heard in interviews done by CBS affiliate WPEC and posted on the station’s website.
She had been set to appear from July 11th through July 17th at T’s Lounge, and had said she would only dance topless, but workers at the club were not convinced.
A woman identified by WPEC as Stacy, manager of the club, said “She will be going topless, and down to a thong maybe after a couple of shows she gets comfortable and we get to see more.”
A bartender named Michelle said Suleman had, “a lot of mouths to feed, so it was only a matter of time” before she turned to stripping.”
“She must be a little crazy, normal people don’t have that many children,” Michelle said.
TMZ said Octomom thought the workers were “talking smack” about her, and was offended enough to cancel her performance.
Suleman, 36, gained the nickname “Octomom” when she gave birth to octuplets following fertility treatment. She was already a mother to six children.
Hers tripping gig followed a turn in a porn movie set to be released this summer.
Suleman’s recent dabbling into the strip-club scene is another bizarre turn for her in 2012. In April, Suleman, a 24-year-old mother of 14 young children, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, claiming she is up to $1 million in debt.
