Miami-Dade Police are looking for a man who opened fire on a bus, killing one passenger. (CBS4)
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) – One person is dead following a shooting on a crowded Miami-Dade transit bus Tuesday night.
Police say the bus was near the intersection of Caribbean Boulevard and South Dixie Highway around 9 p.m. when an altercation broke out between two male passengers.
One of the passengers pulled out a gun and shot the other before fleeing the scene.
The injured man was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center where he later died. The victim has not been identified.
Police say they do not have a description of the shooter and he is still on the loose. Other passengers on the bus are being questioned to get more information.
