NEW YORK (CBSMiami/AP) – Prosecutors in the trial of Narcy Novack are focusing on the financial motive she had to kill her millionaire husband Ben Novack Jr. and his mother.

Narcy Novack, of Ft. Lauderdale, is accused along with her brother of orchestrating the 2009 deaths of Novack Jr. and his mother.

An estate lawyer testified Tuesday that because of a prenuptial agreement, Narcy Novack would get $65,000 if her husband divorced her. The lawyer said if he died, she would get millions.

Ben Novack was the son of the founder of the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach.

The lawyer also testified that the Novacks signed an agreement after they married that overrode the prenup, but Ben Novack Jr. withheld final approval.

During cross-examination, the witness said the post-nuptial agreement had been signed by both the Novacks and their lawyers.

Later, a former prostitute and video porn actress testified that she had a yearlong affair Novack Jr. that ended with his death.

Rebecca Bliss said she Novack Jr. through an online ad for sex. Bliss said Novack put her up at a fancy hotel before he installed her in a condo near his home, paying all her bills.

Bliss testified that arcy Novack called her several times in an attempt to break up the affair. She said she expected Novack Jr. to leave his wife for her.
