MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Kim Kardashian is not putting her wedding gifts to waste. The reality TV star, who called it quits with Kris Humphries 72 days after they married, has decided to donate money to charity for every gift she received.
“I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that they money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation,” reads a thank-you note obtained by TMZ.
The couple’s wedding gifts added up to about $100,000, according to Us Weekly, but Kardashian reportedly wrote a check to the foundation for double the value of the pricey presents.
The Dream Foundation is a “wish-granting organization” for adults with life-threatening illnesses.
