New Year's Eve South Florida Style
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – For the best New Year’s weather in the nation, look no further than South Florida.
After a cool morning in South Florida with lows in the 50s, a milder trend is on the way as we head into 2012.
Friday through Sunday, South Florida will enjoy picture perfect weather. There will be plenty of sunny, calm and warm weather with highs near 80 and lows in the mid to upper 50s. Due to low humidity, the air should feel cool and dry.
But get ready to bundle up again early next week as a strong cold front surges through the sunshine state on Monday. By Tuesday morning, South Florida will be shivering with morning lows in the 40s and a wind chill in the 30s.
High temperatures Tuesday afternoon will only in the 60s which is about 10-15 degrees below normal.
