HIALEAH – (CBSMiami.com) – A 56-year-old man posed as a personal trainer and then made sexual advances toward a 13-year-old boy at a Hialeah gym earlier this month, Hialeah police said.

Ricardo Castro approached the teen at Solid Bodies Gym on the 1500 block of West 84th Street sometime in October, according to the police report.

Castro first offered to serve as the teen’s personal trainer, but later “started to insinuate sexual advances towards him,” the police report states.

Castro made a statement to police in which he “admitted he made the sexual advances to the victim knowing he was a minor,” the report states.

 On Wednesday, Castro appeared before a bond court judge facing one count of lewd and lascivious conduct. The judge ordered him held on $7,500 bond.
