2 Dead In Single Engine Airplane Crash In Homestead

HOMESTEAD (CBS4)- Authorities are investigating after a small aircraft  crashed in Homestead Saturday morning killing both people on board.

According to an FAA spokesperson, the single engine fixed wing aircraft crashed under unknown circumstances at the Richards Field Airport in Homestead just after 10:30 a.m.

The owner of the plane is from Miami, according to the FAA.

Local authorities reported that there were two fatalities, the FAA said.
