FSU Loses DT McDaniel For Season
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – Florida State's football season has been heading downhill ever since the team lost to Oklahoma at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Things turned bleak Monday night when Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher reported that star defensive tackle Jaccobi McDaniel's season is over.
McDaniel was injured during last Saturday's game over Duke. The defensive star suffered a dislocated ankle and a broken fibula in his right leg on the sixth play of the game.
McDaniel is scheduled to have surgery on his leg Tuesday. He started all 14 games for the Noles in 2010.
